Why Tunza?

The Tunza Community was founded with a heartfelt mission to address the gaps in support available to families of migrant and refugee backgrounds living in Perth, Western Australia. Recognising the unique challenges faced by these communities, Tunza strives to empower parents by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge. Our focus is on fostering their confidence and capability to navigate parenting challenges effectively.

Equally, we understand the importance of supporting the dedicated workers who serve these families. Tunza creates safe and nurturing spaces where these professionals can openly discuss their challenges, share experiences, and seek peer support. Together, we aim to build a resilient and connected community where every individual feels supported and empowered.
